PRIVACY POLICY

WHAT THIS PAGE COVERS
This website does one thing with personal information: it collects an email address if you choose to give us one. That's the whole scope, so that's the whole policy.
The Familyful app isn't out yet. When it launches it will have its own privacy policy covering what it does, and you'll be able to read that before you ever open it. Beyond the one line under Children about who accounts are for, nothing on this page is about the app.
WHAT WE COLLECT
Your email address, only if you type it into a form here. That's it.
We ask for nothing else. No name, no location, no phone number, no age, nothing about your family.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — the ordinary record any website keeps of requests it receives. We don't use those to build a profile of you.
No advertising trackers. No third-party analytics. No pixels. No cookies for tracking.
ROOM, SHELF AND TOY SCANS
When you scan a room, shelf or toy, the photo is sent to an AI service (Google, through Firebase) to identify what is in it. Familyful does not store the photo. Only the list you review and approve is saved to your family's account, and you can edit or delete that list at any time. Please keep people out of the frame; the scan is for objects, not faces.
WHY WE COLLECT IT
To send you occasional email about Familyful — roughly once a month — and to let you know when the app is ready.
That's the only reason. We don't do anything else with it.
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
Nobody, and we never sell it. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone else, under any circumstances.
The one exception is the ordinary one: the email service that stores the list and delivers the messages, acting for us and only on our instructions. They can't use your address for their own purposes.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Until you ask us to remove it, or until you unsubscribe.
When you unsubscribe we keep the minimum record needed to make sure we don't accidentally email you again. If you'd rather be erased entirely, ask and we'll do that instead.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Unsubscribe — every email has a one-click link, and it works immediately.
- Ask what we hold — email us and we'll tell you. It will be your email address.
- Ask us to delete it — email us and we will, promptly.
- Ask us to correct it — same.
You don't need a reason and you won't be asked for one.
CHILDREN
This website isn't for children and we don't knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13. Familyful accounts are for adults, 18 and over — parents and caregivers use the app; there's no login for children. If you believe a child has given us an email address, tell us and we'll delete it.
CHANGES
If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top. If it ever changes in a way that materially affects people already on the list, we'll say so in an email rather than quietly editing the page.
